Corey Kraft is a Los Angeles ceramic artist whose work combines wheel-thrown and sculptural forms with illustration, sgraffito, carving and surface experimentation. Before working in clay, Corey spent nearly fifteen years as an editor in film and animation, an experience that continues to shape the way they approach storytelling, composition and narrative.

Their work ranges from playful, character-driven functional pottery to sculptural and narrative pieces, with an increasing interest in using ceramics to explore memory, identity and the stories objects can preserve.

Corey also works as a kiln technician and documents the less-polished side of ceramics online: experiments, technical processes, failures, problem-solving and the occasional thing that absolutely should not have been in the reclaim.
